Although it is well documented that Malamutes and Wolves are closely related, the reputed Pit-Bull component of Claude J. did not appear to hinder, in any way, his remarkable vocal abilities. At age 3, he pawed his first platinum single, "Milkbones and Margueritas" and soon thereafter became the legendary "Humming Dog Of The North." To date his tunes have sold almost 100,000,000 worldwide. His owner and mentor, composer and lyricist will forever be in awe of his protegé's astounding accomplishments.

Pictured here on the left is Claude, in March, 1989, with longtime galpal and collaborator Margie; the duo had just returned from a triumphant world tour, opening for Jimmy Buffet. They relax at home...taking a much deserved rest; after the rigors of touring.

It is of no small surprise that Otto here is hiding from his master Rick Littlefield. Rick is a university music professor of both intellectual and physical stature.

Rick, after a steady regime of pleurisy root, wanted me to add: "Otto is a miniature dachsund who had his legs amputated, leaving only the torso and head (pictured here). Otto - or what's left of him - prefers soft, downy sleeping bags like this one, because they produce fewer bed-sores than typical doggy beds do."

Here, during Christmas 1999, is a picture of Rushmore, the late poodle dog belonging to Yuta and Emmett Chapman at Stick Enterprises.

Yuta sends a lovely tribute to Rushmore and to all dogs who have passed on and are sorely missed by their families.

If you can start the day without caffeine,

If you can resist complaining and boring people with your troubles,
If you can eat the same food every day and be grateful for it,
If you can understand when your loved ones are too busy to give you any time,
If you can overlook it when something goes wrong through no fault of yours and those you love take it out on you,

If you can ignore a friend's limited education and never correct him,
If you can resist treating a rich friend better than a poor friend,
If you can face the world without lies and deceit,
If you can conquer tension without medical help,
If you can relax without liquor,
If you can sleep without the aid of drugs,
If you can say honestly that deep in your heart you have no prejudice against creed, color, religion or politics,

Then, my friends, you are almost as good as your dog.
