Basson Sound, a San Diego based manufacturer of guitar and bass cabs, introduces their line of 2x12 guitar cabs with these 150-watt smart looking entries. You can choose between the gray face models or one of the all black cabinets each fitted with Eminence Legend Series speakers. Wired for a standard impedance of eight ohms, with a four ohm setup optional, Basson cabinets are hand-made out of glued and screwed MDF with butt-end joints reinforced with one-inch braces along all seams. Covering available is black Soloflex/Duraflex and recessed metal handles are standard issue. You also get nickel or black corner protectors included depending on the model.

These cabs sell directly from the factory in San Diego as well as through distributors in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. The 2X12s sell for $286 MSRP and come with a five-year manufacturer's warranty.
