Toronado

One of Fender's most popular guitar lines, US Highway 1, has a new addition called the Toronado. All American-made, the Toronado has a modernized new shape reminiscent of the Fender Jazzmaster or Jaguar guitars. The one-piece maple neck has a rosewood fingerboard, 22 medium jumbo frets and 24 3/4-inch scale.

The alder wood body has a satin urethane finish available in Black, Pewter and Chrome Silver colors complimented by black plastic knobs and pickguard. The Toronado uses an Adjusto-Matic bridge with an anchored tailpiece. There are two Fender Atomic II™ humbucking pickups and a three-way switch with single volume and tone controls.

The US Highway 1 line starts with prices as low as $856.99 MSRP and the Toronado comes in at $1,141.99. It's made in Corona, California and comes with a deluxe gig bag.
