GoGo Tuners Horizon Chromatic Pedal Tuner
GoGo's familiar tuner technology, with its "Green You're In" and "Red You're Out" binary tuning technology, is now available in the new GoGo Horizon tuner. It is priced the same ($99) and packaged in an all-metal chassis like GoGo's Caliber Tuner except the Horizon Tuner is about 3/4 of the size of a standard tuner yet its screen is wider and easy to see while using it out on my sunny patio. Horizon was designed to fit in any guitar pedal or studio rig--it measures: 107mm X 84mm X 54mm and has a much larger and wider +/- tuning meter along with the same alpha display as the Caliber.

The Horizon is about the width of two of the new micro effects stomp pedals (that don't have space for 9V batteries) that are becoming popular now. I liked that it has a battery compartment and came with its own 9-volt battery so you don't have to rely on plugging it into anything other than your guitar--you can use it with or without a pedal board.

Like the Caliber, you get the same +/- 0.5-cent accuracy and the daisy chain power jacks to connect it to other pedals. I liked the A0 (27.5 Hz) to C8 (4,186.00 Hz) range making it ready to tune basses, synths and well as guitars in any drop tuning.

The Horizon continues with True Bypass switching and the calibrate function for setting reference A=440Hz anywhere from 430Hz to 450Hz. The GoGo Horizon Pedal Tuner sells for $99 MAP and for more visit www.gogotuners.com.
