For G&L's 25th Anniversary, G&L's Custom Shop designed a special guitar featuring Leo Fender's first pickup for G&L, the Magnetic Field humbucker. This especially wound pickup first appeared in his G&L F-100 in 1980. There will be only 250 made.
The guitar's rich finish has been custom blended to match the aged appearance of a 1981 F-100. Both the guitar's body and neck are made from mahogany and includes a rosewood fingerboard. There are two pickups, a G&L Saddle Lock bridge, chrome Sperzel tuners, rear-mounted 3-way pickup selector, and volume and tone controls with knurled knobs.
