One of over 12 new guitars introduced at the recent Winter NAMM Show, the Singlecut Hollowbody I is beautiful in its symmetry--right to its opposing F-holes carved into the highly figure maple top plate. The back, sides and 25-inch scale neck are mahogany and there is a rosewood fretboard equipped with 22-frets and moon inlays.
Other standard features are: PRS Stoptail, PRS 14:1 Low Mass locking tuners, and options such as: 10 top flame, bird inlays (pictured), gold hardware (pictured), and LR Baggs/PRS Piezo pickup system, and artist package--flame maple. Standard electronics are: Archtop treble and bass pickups with covers, volume and tone controls and a three-way toggle switch. Colors available run through the entire PRS paint shop's supply of over 30 colors and finishes. I liked the Tobacco Sunburst shown in the picture.
