The FX66 is a '60's styled guitar fuzz tone pedal. There are four knobs at the top of the pedal: Volume or output level; Low for low frequency amount; Tone, that's high frequency content; and Fuzz or distortion. You can operate the pedal on the internal nine-volt battery or use the optional PS200R power supply but either way an LED lights up when the pedal is active just in case you couldn't tell.
And even if you're deaf, the FX66 works well and is very reminiscent of all those vintage fuzz stompboxes your parents covet or that weird long-haired uncle may have laying around in the trunk of his 1967 Corvair. The FX66 features (unlike those flakey old pedals) an easy access battery compartment, active switching for noiseless operation, a rubber non-skid bottom and a three-year limited warranty.
