Workshop Series from DW

The Workshop Series is DW's entry into the midrange price market with production-style drum kits. Although there are fewer features here than with DW's higher-end Collector's Series custom line, there doesn't seem to be any compromises here in sound.

There are three configurations (drumset sizes) and colors available: 8X10, 9X12, 11X14 and 13X16 tom-toms with a 18X22 bass drum; then 8X10, 9X12, 11X14 toms with the same bass drum and a 5X14 snare drum; or you can get 8X10, 9X12 and 12X15 toms, a 16X20 bass and the 5X14 snare. The three colors are: Transparent Cranberry (my fave), Teal and Royal. You also get DW's trademark round lug, STM suspension-style tom mounts, True-Pitch™ tension rods, a BDP bass drum muffling pillow, clear top and bottom heads and precision bearing edges.
