Stereo Polychorus from Electro-Harmonix
by Barry Rudolph |
The Stereo Polychorus is a reissue of the classic flanger/chorus pedal used by both Adrian Belew and Kurt Cobain. This new version has improved signal-to-noise performance and is hand-assembled in the U.S.A.
There are four modes: Filter Matrix, Flange, Chorus and Double-Track. The delay time of this analog delay is fully adjustable and the Filter Matrix includes a sweep on/off switch. The time-domain effects, chorus and flange, have Width, (or depth) Rate, (or the speed of the effect modulation), Tune/Delay, (the time delay or tuning of the double track effect) and Feedback. Like the famous Electro-Harmonix Memory Man or Micro Synthesizer, the Stereo Polychorus is housed in a nickel-plated, steel trapezoidal chassis and is AC powered. The unit retails for $275 and you can find out more about this viby effect by calling Electro-Harmonix at 800-633-5477 or 212-529-0466 or FAX 212-529-0486 or E-mail to: info@ehx.com or Web to: www.ehx.com New Sensor Corporation is the parent company and they are located at 20 Cooper Square New York, NY 10003. |
