RealVerb™ is a stereo reverb plug-in for Pro-Tools systems. Since RealVerb comes in Pro-Tools TDM, DigiDesign's Digi 001® RTAS formats and now MAS™ for Mark Of The Unicorn, it answers the needs of all Pro-Tools users who would like a better reverb with more control over all parameters. And that's control over realtime parameters like room shape, size and texture that all contribute to the final sound and ambient feeling of a recording. Kind of Loud uses their patented spatial technology within RealVerb to allows users to pan sources within a stereo sound field.

There are two graphic menus where you can blend both room shapes and materials...the actual construction materials of the room's walls. There are also independent controls over equalization, timing and diffusion patterns as well as the direct sound paths, early reflection and total reverberation intensities. The range of adjustable room sizes goes from 0.5 meters (that's a big shoe box) and 99 meters (an indoor football field). Once you have "designed" your virtual room, you can morph, in real-time, between your new room and another room preset.

System requirements are: a Mac computer although the PC RTAS version will be out by the time you read this, Pro-Tools v 4.3 or greater for the TDM version, the RTAS version uses Pro-Tools LE 5.0 or better and for the MAS versions, use Digital Performer V2.6, Performer 6.03 or greater and Audio Desk 1.01 or later.
