by Barry Rudolph |
![]() For sounds, you can use .mp3 and .wav files, MIDI, .avi movies, CDs, or just record live. There is a drum machine, Scratchbox for DJ scratching, a Silver Synth to simulate analog synths, and many sounds in the included sound pool CDs. The standard version comes with 2,200 samples while the Deluxe version comes with 3,300. On the video production side, use your home DV camcorder or combine photo material with the 140 license-free video clips. You can then add beat-driven visual effects, cross fades, put you lyrics in motion, or use any of 600 effects from the video FX-rack. There are 34 website templates and the program guides you through arranging, loading, and posting of their own songs, video streams and photo slide shows to Magix's web publishing area and Internet forum for new music and video talent.
