Pacific Drums and Percussion's L-Series is a new line of professional all-maple drums from Drum Workshop that are made using precise quality control tolerances for the best tonal warmth and projection. Manufacturing details include special attention to the bearing edges of each drum and a standard, high gloss lacquer finish. The distinctive oval lugs with rubber insulation and heavy-gauge steel counterhoops promote better individual drum sound by allowing the clear bottom and coated top drumheads to project the right balance of clarity and resonance.

The L-Series Rack Toms come standard with suspension-style PDM or Pacific Drum Mounts while the Floor toms use special sustain legs that allow for fuller sound vibration. The L-Series Bass drums use a coated/clear back head and coated front head with an adjustable drum muffing pillow for a tighter and dryer kick drum sound. You get adjustable spurs and a three-way adjustable ball-in-socket, double tom mounting system with an extra clamp for additional tom-tom or cymbal arms. The all maple snare drum also uses a coated batter-side head but a hazy snare-side head with a lug tuning sequence printed right on the head itself. L-Series drumsets use the 500 Series SP500 chain-drive Single Bass Drum Pedal as well as the heavy-duty 900 Series hi-hat, snare drum and cymbal stands.
