Shure's Wireless VHF T-Series System
by Barry Rudolph |
Shure has re-launched their VHF T-Series budget-minded wireless microphone system. The entire system has been updated with a modern new look and an improved receiver design. The receiver uses Shure's proprietary microprocessor-controlled Predictive Diversity that anticipates dropouts before they degrade the audio.
There are four models in the T-Series: The Vocal Artist handheld mic uses a Shure SM58® dynamic mic or the higher output BG3.1 mic with neodymium capsule in an internal shock mount; The Guitarist is a body pack transmitter with two 1/4 inch input cables; The Presenter gives you the choice of a omnidirectional or supercardioid lavalier mic while The Headset has a boom mic with a fully-adjustable gooseneck and is perfect for aerobics instructors or DJs. You may also order The Body-Pack that is just a receiver and body-pack transmitter ready for any microphone you like. Prices for the systems start from $260 for The Guitarist in a non-diversity version and run to $560 for a full diversity Vocal Artist system.
