The Soundcraft 328XD is an eight-buss digital mixing console ready any mixing job from music recording to control of sequencers, DAWs and synths. This small desktop system has 100mm motorized faders, snapshot automation, total recall and two onboard Lexicon effect units. There are 16 mic/line inputs, five stereo inputs and 16 digital inputs (or tape returns) in ADAT™ optical and TDIF™ formats for a total of up to 42 inputs at mixdown. The console uses the "E-Strip"Éa horizontal channel strip for controlling EQ, aux sends, dynamics or monitor mix levels. Every channel has a gate and compressor/limiter.
The 328XD has built-in interfaces for ADAT and TDIF, plus S/PDIF, AES/EBU stereo in/out and wordclock. 24-bit ADCs and DACs with 128x oversampling and 56-bit internal processing are also used on the 328XD.
