Custom Oak Drums from Yamaha

Yamaha Oak Drums The Custom Oak drums from Yamaha are made with 100% oak wood shells for a rich appearance and sound. These drums are said to produce a distinctive bright, remarkably loud and harmonically rich sound. This kit adds to Yamaha's line of Maple, Birch and Beech Custom drums but at a lower cost.

The bass drum shells are seven-ply and 7.7 mm thick while the rack toms, floor toms and snare drums are six-ply and 6.6 mm thick. The seventeen-inch deep bass drums are available in 20, 22 and 24-inch sizes with PowerStroke3 heads while the 18-inch kicks use coated Ambassador heads. Floor toms are available in 13, 14, 15, 16 and 18-inch diameters and all toms use Yamaha's YESS suspension mounting system that allow the drums to freely resonate while firmly mounted.

Colors are Sedona Red, Badlands Brown, Ozark Black and Natural matte finish or York Honey Amber, Blue Ridge Blue and Bryce Canyon Brown gloss finishes.
