Roger Linn inaugurates his new company, Roger Linn Design, with his AdrenaLinn, a stomp box for guitar, bass or keyboards. You should assume that coming from the creator of the first digital drum machine and the industry-standard Akai MPC series of groove boxes, the AdrenaLinn is a lot more than a one trick pony "stomp" box! The AdrenaLinn is a groove-oriented effect that combines a bank of filters, a looping sequencer, a variety of synthesizer-style modulators, a guitar amp modeler and a drum machine with 40 sounds. AdrenaLinn plays in sync to its internal clock or slaves to external MIDI clocks.

You can design filter sequences using preset dynamic looping patterns of filter tones, program your own or use random patterns. Effects like tremolo, filter sweeps, flanging, sample & hold filter, auto-pan can all be used in perfect sync to the beat without knowing anything about computers. There is a beat-synced delay effect where you select note duration and the delay follows your tempo.

AdrenaLinn's amp modeling includes models ranging from clean sounds to expensive 'designer' amps to hi-gain amp stacks. Additionally, a variety of classic filter effects like auto-wah and note-triggered filter swells are available plus you can create new sounds by routing of any of its ten modulation sources to any of six filter types.
