The Micro-D is a miniaturized, pre-polarized electret condenser microphone. Great for miking drums and percussion, guitar cabinets, cymbals, speech, vocals, and acoustic instruments, the Micro-D is available with three different types of specialized mounting clips and either cardioid or hypercardioid capsules. Frequency range is 40Hz to 20kHz and the stock version has a hypercardioid pick-up pattern and is capable of handling sound pressure levels up to 140 dB. The included D-vice spring tensioned gooseneck clamp is ideally suited for mounting to any drum rim. Specifications: sensitivity is 5 mV/Pascal; impedance is 250 ohms balanced; housing/finish is brass capsule housing with aluminum protective ring; weight is 2 oz. or 59 grams.
Optional accessories include the D-clamp tension clip for percussion instruments and the D-flex clip for drums, percussion, guitar cabinets, goodie table or cymbal stands.
