Gibson USA's limited edition Les Paul Supreme features highly figured maple on the back and top. You get custom binding, deluxe pearl fingerboard inlays and a pearl-and-brass globe inlaid on the headstock. Gibson's first Les Paul Model came out in 1952, and over 100 different models have been manufactured since. The Supreme's curly maple top and back marks a big change for the Paul. The Supreme has a chambered mahogany body for a lighter feel, custom binding on top, back, fingerboard and headstock with split-block inlays on an ebony fingerboard. Finishes include Heritage Cherry Sunburst, Desert Burst, Root Beer and Trans Amber.
