Home Studio Pro 64 is a PC sound card that allows users to play up to eight wave files at the same time with up to 64 MIDI voices. The audio tracks can be separately processed in real-time with effects such as reverb, EQ, 3D positioning, pitch change, delays or chorus. The on-board digital processing chips allow for faster processing without using the PC host's CPU. That means other Window applications that you have running will not be compromised in speed or limited in system resources.

At a MSRP of $299, the Pro 64 represents a cost-effective way for musicians to get access to up to 355 real instruments with 128 General MIDI sounds and four MB of wave samples stored in on-board RAM. Users can expand RAM out to 20 MB with standard RAM SIMMs.

Besides the main board, the Home Studio Pro 64 card features digital, 44.1 Khz. S/PDIF connections as well as stereo inputs and two pairs of stereo outputs for four-channel sound or surround applications. The system comes with Quartz Audio Master SE for digital audio and MIDI sequencing but the card also works with: Cakewalk Express™; Midisoft Audio Works™ FX; Maxi™ Instrument Downloader and the Maxi™ Instrument Editor. The card is also optimized for Windows© 95, fully "plug and play," Sound Blaster™ compatible and both General MIDI and General Standard ready.
