HSS, part of Hohner, has the HFX acoustic/electric guitar with built-in effects. You can use all eight effects (including EQ) at the same time with the Shadow Megatech 8 EQ Effects System. The effects are: reverb, delay, tremolo, chorus, flanger, compressor and a noise gate. Facing you while playing are both an onboard digital tuner with backlit LCD readout and a six-band equalizer built into the side of the guitar.
The guitar is a cutaway style acoustic with solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides, a rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets and die-cast tuning machines. You get abalone dot position markers and the soundhole is surrounded with abalone inlay. With 20 memory presets for storing combinations of effects, the HFX is perfect for the single performer gig where you can programmed your entire set with the appropriate guitar sounds for each song.
