Ibanez SR640 and SR645 Pro Basses Pictured is the SR640TI four-string pro bass from Ibanez. The SR645 is the five-string version that looks exactly the same and only sells for about $140 more. Both the SR640 and SR645 have a basswood body with a 34-inch, three-piece maple neck with rosewood fretboard. You also get pearl dot fret markers, 24 medium-sized frets, a die-cast bridge and all-black hardware.

Colors for the four-string are Titanium Ice (pictured) and BK Black. The five-string SR645 comes in Gray Nickel or BK Black. The SR640 uses an Ibanez IBZ DXP passive pickup at the neck and the IBZ DXJ passive at the bridge. The five-string uses IBZ DX5 passive pickups at both positions. Both basses rock with the EQBII 2-band active equalizer/pre-amp.
