Designed for the professional as well as the musician, the KSP8 is an eight-channel, 24-bit signal processor housed in a two-rack space cabinet. With twice the processing power and all the effect algorithms of the KDFX system, the KSP8 adds surround reverbs and comes with four analog inputs and outputs and stereo AES/EBU I/O. An I/O option slot provides a choice of expanding with four additional channels of analog I/O or eight channels of Alesis Lightpipe I/O, Tascam TDIF, or AES/EBU I/O. SmartMedia cards are used to store your own settings and patches.
With a backlit display for editing, algorithms include reverbs, rooms, flangers, choruses, grungy distortions, aliasing and chaos generators, rotary speakers, cabinet simulators, Lazerverbs, a full range of dynamics processors, enhancers, and many EQs and filters.
The KSP8 sells for $2,995 MSRP and will be out in early October. Contact Kurzweil Music Systems at 9501 Lakewood Drive, SW Suite D, Lakewood, WA 98499. Phone them at 253-589-3200 or visit: www.kurzweilmusicsystems.com
