Martin Guitars is now collaborating with Thomas Humphrey to produce the Humphrey-designed Millennium classical guitar at a more affordable price point.

The CTSH classical guitar is made with a solid engelmann spruce top. The back is made from a solid, two-piece East Indian rosewood with style 45 mosaic back inlay strip. The sides are also of solid rosewood and the fingerboard is contoured with contemporary classical arching. The binding is rosewood with black/white inlays on the top, sides and back.

The C-1R classical guitar is made with a Western red cedar sound board and the back and sides are made with laminated, two-piece rosewood. Both of these guitars have Humphrey's extraordinary arching and thinner lattice braced sound boards. There is also the trademark elevated neck and fingerboard that allows easier access to the higher notes. The rosette is a multi-colored, wooden classical mosaic and the neck dimensions are traditional classic proportions and shape. All of these design features give the Martin/Humphrey guitars their sound and harp-like tonal response.
