Stuart Spector Designs Ltd. of Woodstock, NY has the NSJH6, a bass featuring the ergonomic Spector NS-style carved body. The bolt-on neck is a long-scale (35 inch) that uses a deep inset neck joint first designed by Stuart Spector in 1980. The carved body is available in either lightweight ash or solid broadleaf curly maple. Finishes range from natural to penetrating stain colored hand-rubbed finishes. Colors include: natural, royal blue, peacock blue, leaf green, golden stain, violet stain, and black stain. All hardware is black plated, including Gotoh tuners and the custom Hipshot bridge. Pickups are an EMG 45J in the front and a switchable 45CS Twin at the bridge position. The standard EQ system is an EMG BT system, but an optional Aguilar OBP-1 system is also available.
