The Rock Legend is a re-issue of the original hand-made guitars Wayne Charvel made in the '70's and early '80's. The Legend's body is made from alder wood and has an original Floyd Rose tremolo bridge identical to the '70's models. You can also get Eddie Van Halen's D-Tuna installed that drops the low E string down to a D without unclamping the locking nut.
The neck is made from AAA Birdseye maple with 22 jumbo frets on your choice of an ebony, rosewood or maple fretboard. Tuning machines are by Gotoh with chrome or brass knobs. You get your choice of one or two humbuckers with Duncan's Jeff Beck Zebra at the bridge and Seymour's alnico neck Zebra at the neck position. Electronics are: with one pickup, just the single and lonely volume control; with two pickups you'll get volume and a three-way switch. Colors are all over the map and there is a big choice of graphics such as: flames, bulls eye, snake skin, checker board, Japanese flag, pinstripes, etc.
All guitars are made in the US and for prices and details, you should contact Wayne Guitars at: 530-872-5123 or go to www.wayneguitars for many pictures of these instruments.
