The Yamaha Stage Custom Advantage with Split Lugs series feature eight-ply birch/mahogany/falkata shells and a wood grain-enhancing lacquer finish. The Air-Seal System shells and low mass split lug design increased resonance. The drum kits feature nine-ply bass drums with matching wood hoops and all drums have the Yamaha Enhanced Sustain System (YESS).
