IsoAcoustics Iso-Puck |
Their round shape makes them flexible enough to be positioned easily such as the narrow spaces atop a recording studio's console meter bridge or on a home studio's desk monitor speaker shelf. A single Iso-Puck is rated at a maximum load of 20lbs (9kg) and three or more can be combined to support the heaviest of monitors or equipment racks.
Iso-Puck's multi-sectional construction allows them to isolate and manage the energy exactly like IsoAcoustics' Aperta 200 Speaker Stands I use here at my Tones 4 $ Studios. Both products use a flange suction cup on their top surface that adheres to the bottom of the monitor's cabinet to resist lateral side-to-side movement. I live in earthquake country here in Los Angeles and it is reassuring to know that my monitors resist sideways motion as they sit on a pair of Aperta 200 mounts.

This is a big improvement and the Iso-Pucks add a great finishing touch to the 'look' of the subwoofer. IsoAcoustics' Iso-Pucks come in 2-Packs that sell for $59 MSRP. For more information, check: www.isoacoustics.com/iso-puck/.
