Washburn Baby Jumbo Acoustic With a sound that belies its size, the Baby Jumbo is for musicians who enjoy the sound of a jumbo-body guitar, but prefer playing a more compact instrument on stage. There are (so far) two models in the Baby Jumbo series: the WB400SW and the electrified and cutaway WB400SWCE.

By compressing the body length of the Baby Jumbo but enlarging the lower bout you end up with the original body volume of a concert-sized guitar. With a larger vibrating top area around the bridge you get a full, balanced sound from a sleeker looking instrument.

The Baby Jumbo guitars are crafted with solid rosewood sides and back, along with an ebony fingerboard and bridge. The WB400SW features a solid cedar top, Grover gold tuners, and a bone saddle and nut. The WB400SWCE cutaway allows access to the upper frets and features a solid spruce top along with Washburn's exclusive pre-amp system designed by B-Band.

The Baby Jumbo WB400SW sells for $1,499.90 MSRP while the Baby Jumbo WB400SWCE is $1,799.90. Standard extras include: GC64 case, mahogany neck, ebony bridge and fingerboard, bone saddle and nut, ivory binding, bound rosewood-capped headstock, gold Grover tuners, and Abalone rosette.
