Author Bill Gibson's 2nd Edition of Instrumental & Vocal Recording is an intermediate level music engineering book that combines the classical, "tried and tested" recording and mixing techniques with the newfangled--but only the most important and relevant new technologies and methods. Over 300-pages long, there is plenty of excellent technical information dispensed over its eight chapters that will enlighten the beginner and refresh the pro.
Each chapter starts with an overview of what topics will be covered and ends with a 20-question test of your comprehension.
