David Glasser is owner and chief engineer of Airshow Mastering in Boulder, CO. He's a two-time Grammy winner (3-time nominee); records he's mastered have received over 100 Grammy nominations, with over a dozen wins. Recent mastering projects include: Grateful Dead, Sturgill Simpson, Dave Alvin & Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Yonder Mountain String Band, Bonnie Prince Billy, Darol Anger, Mr Sun, Robert Hunter, Bob Weir, Dead & Co.
David started his audio career duplicating tapes by the Boston Symphony and Pops Orchestras for syndication and recording weekly concerts at Boston Symphony Hall. This was followed by an 8 year stint at National Public Radio in Washington, DC where he worked on a wide range of NPR shows including All Things Considered, Morning Edition, and remote recordings for Jazz Alive!
He was an early adopter of DSD and SACD, Plangent Processes tape restoration, and MQA.
David works out of his mastering studio in the foothills west of Boulder, CO.
