I was involved with three El Chicano albums. They were: "EL
Chicano" and "Cinco" both produced by Johnny Musso (an executive at MCA
Records at the time) and "Best of Everything" produced by Lenny Roberts.
Lenny was the main engineer (I was the 2nd engineer) on the two Musso produced albums and when he got the chance to produced "Best", he used me as 1st engineer. El Chicano was one of my first experiences with a hard-workin', road worthy rock band. It also showed me that democracy doesn't work very well in the studio.
